I'm back...

After some months out of this wonderful world and company, i'm back!

First the reasons why:

- First i'm a new portuguese army officer and that took almost all my time since january!
- My computer delivered his soul to the mighty creator... I bought a laptop but Windows vista doesn't like Fs2004 and all my add-ons!
- And now i have a beautiful lady baby, with 3 weeks!

Well, right now i'm choosing a new desktop computer and i think that i'm able to restart flying in two weeks!

Can some one tell me what's new in this "kingdom"?

And what do you think about this machine:

Welcome back Helio, it sounds like your life has become full of new excitement! Congratulations on your new arrival - what's her name? You're going to be very busy for a while as I found out at Christmas

Your new computer specs sound impressive to me but I'm not really very technical  But I'd choose the 9800GT graphics card if it were me...

And around here it's business as usual, we've got a smaller management team than before but there's still plenty going on

The next ProPilot Event starts on 23rd July which is probably too soon for you to get involved but we've also got a Museum planes Tour coming out and all the Divisions Missions were rewritten a couple of months ago. The last three planes have been repainted in the EHO Fleet too

Well, my new computer arrived today...

Right now i'm starting the epic task of prepare it, install FS2004 (yes, i will continue with FS9), all the ivao software, sceneries, aircrafts, Euroharmony stuff and much more...

I think that close to the night i'll be flying online somewhere!

Have you got everything working yet? I've just had to re-install Windows on my machine so I know how these things can take longer than you expect

Good luck with getting everything tweaked to perfection again - let us know if you have any problems we can assist with too

to run fs2004 on vista you need to turn desktop compositing off.

Otherwise you get a black screen

Congrats on all your achievements first of all

I'd tell you to bypass Vista all together and try the Windows 7 versions out there... or wait for it to come out... performance seems to be a lot improved from Vista's.

Also I hope you went for the 9800 gfx card its way better than the other two

And also, Im back too... havent been flying for a while, logged some hours last night =)

Everything's ready. Or almost.

Right now the only problem it's just de Flight Logger that doesn't start.

This is the error message: "cannot initialize data bindings. Run time error 9. Subscript out of range"...

I'll uninstall the flight logger and reinstall again to see what happens!

That error sounds familiar, if you search through the old Forum posts about Flogger issues I'm sure the solution will pop out

yep, just like you said Dominic... The problem was the Microsoft Access that i dindn't instalaed yet when i logged in...

Right now i'm back online... Flying from Lisbon to Ibiza!
