As part of the celebrations to mark 10 years since EuroHarmony VA began operations on 29th April 2001, we are having a special fly-in on Friday 29th April 2011, starting at 1800 Zulu (which is 1900 British Summer Time).

We will be recreating the very first EHM flight which was from LSZH (Zurich) to LSZB (Bern) using a special commemorative B1900D in a livery based on our VA's first paint scheme. We will then have a second leg (as the first is a quite short hop) from LSZB to EGLC (London City) with its exciting steep approach Wink

More details, such as preferred routings and charts, will appear shortly. Participants may fly online on IVAO or VATSIM as you prefer.

Please sign up in this thread if you would like to join us for this very special occasion, indicating your choice of network  Smiley

I really like to be there, but I'm not sure 1800 Z is to early for me Cry and I'm not sure by IVAO or VATSIM, could be for the most popular in termes of EHM people, but first option by IVAO Undecided

Sorry I forgot to say if is possible to fly with the Beech 1900D PMDG version Huh

Thanks

Thanks a lot EHM TM, you're the best of the VA's world Grin and for all my friends of X-plane a little gift in order to begin our 10th Anniversary : Release FreeZ v0.9 X-Plane

A wonderful sunday evening
We're indebted to Yves Graf and Hermann Lehmann for their outstanding work on FreeZ v0.9 for X-Plane, which has been released this evening.

There are two versions: While the Ultra version comes with static aircrafts, the Standard version is completely free of static aircrafts.

Thanks for your work!
The FreeZ Project Team

And of course for FS9 and sorry for the guys who fly with FSX I think is in progress Sad

VATSIM checking in...although I may have to fly a slightly different aircraft as I had issues with the 1900D on my system. I would imagine the ATR or PC-12 to be a reasonable substitute?

I am very sorry to miss this celebration but at that time I will be flying back home from Bogota and will arrive at 0400Z April 30th. A royal pity. Why you didn't combine it with an event for taking Prince Williams on his wedding night?

It will be a 2-hop fly-in. The first one is a short hop from Zurich (LSZH) to Bern, (LSZB). That was the leg it all started with 10 years ago. But as that is only a small hop of about 1/2 hour, we decided to add a do-able leg to the current president's home field (almost Wink). So the second leg is LSZB to London City (EGLC).

So in your case, Mariano, you would probably only have time to fly the first leg, sitting at LSZH around 1800Z. That time is fixed, I'm afraid. But it would sure be great to have you around for the first leg  Smiley

ROUTES AND CHARTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO HELP YOU PLAN YOUR FLIGHTS TOMORROW!

See attachments below...

Sorry, I can't attach the LSZH charts here as there are too many, even split into four zips - the upload kept timing out! You can however download them all HERE

Useful info available HERE from IVAO's Swiss Division Wink

And useful info for London City from THIS LINK

Both hops are in the timetable for you to assign to your dispatch logs - they are both main division Class 1 flights and as follows if using the timetable list: (search for the flightnumber not including "EHM-") and can be found under the Zurich hub.

EHM-1464 LSZH to LSZB
EHM-00057 LSZB to EGLC

It's easier to use the map though, under Euroharmony Class 1.
