Due to a technical issue with the Gallery Album function, here are the shots I posted of my first flight again  Wink

Ready for pushback at a very foggy Stockholm!

Pushing back into the murk...

Bit of a queue for the runway, low visibility operations underway...

Cleared for take-off

Climbing out of the weather

Nice view in the cruise

Approach checklist please

Looks like the fog's back!

Gear down!

Cleared to land...

About to take out the automatics...

One hundred above...

Touchdown - full reverse!

Taxiing in...

Shutdown checklist please...

Ready to take the crew bus to the city. Anyone for a beer?

I have created an album in the Gallery where everybody can add their screenshots for the entire event, if they wish to do so. I will ... Smiley

Here's a first with my actual route from yesterday evening:
as you can see, the STAR tarts a little bit earlier than planned, when opting for rwy28L like we did...

David, Trevor, Gian, and myself did leg 01 sort of together. Fun!
Franz had some tech issues at ESA, so he had to stay behind for now, and Alexander had some RL interference. Otherwise we would have been with 6. There's going to be another Doodle for leg 02 soon, for anyone interested  Roll Eyes so keep tabs on the forum.

I'll try and post some more shots this evening or tomorrow.

Mwwwaahhhh, ...

not satisfied with the result of the screen captures. Too dark Sad
So here's only a few... (ignore the frame rate top left corner, as displayed by Fraps)

Departing ESSA

Arrived at ULLI

And now with the amazing power flash:

I will redo the shoot, and post some new pics later on. But I think that may not be until Friday or even during the weekend...

Leg 02, ULLI-UUDD I had set the time to Zulu minus 12, so I was flying in daylight Smiley

Departing to the west, followed by a 170 degree turn to the east. All 4 of us just airborne. I took the lead, Giancarlo second, followed by Trevor. David held the red lantern this take off.

Soon after take off, Gian overtook me alredy.

A nice, close formation Smiley

There goes Trevor, taking a parallel route again  Tongue

It almost looks like formation flying

Approaching Moscow, David overtook me (2 o'clock low), so now I'm closing the formation

I took some deviations from the WS1D STAR (green line) to create some separation

Due to the bad visibility (night, fog, rain, thunder) Gian had to go around. Here he is on his second attempt. Does not look like he'll make the runway this time eithher, eh? Well, he did Smiley
But more on that later  Wink

Fantastic video and a very impressive landing in the circumstances - well done Gian! I imagine the guys in that fire station were running to their fire engines though  Grin

Hopefully we'll see the video on the front page of the site shortly Wink
