Hi to everyone.

I am planning to have PMDG B1900. Can you tell me your opinions about this plane. Is it worth for the money?? I think it worths but I just wanted to be sure. :)

Thanks a lot.

Is it worth the money? Hoo yes...

The PMDG series of planes are all super great, and I personally can't wait for their 747 and MD11...

The reality is unparallelled, the model is truely beautiful (and quite framerate friendly for it), and they all fly really sweetly (especially the B1900D, none of the 737NG FMC nonsense to get in the way of flying...)

Thanks for your opinion Murray but I am not sure that my computer can support these planes. I have got P3 500Mhz 128 Mb RAM and a very bad onboard graphic card. I think it is 16 Mb or like that... I have not additional card to have another graphic card...

It seems like I will have some problems especially when my adsl come. I will need additional RAMs I think. Maybe I have to buy a new PC right... :) But I must save my money to have a PPL. ;)

So do you have any opinion about these planes PC requirements?

Thanks again...:P

It would be very advisable to get a new system if you want to use those planes cause no matter how framerate friendly they are they are still more detailed than the usual planes around and thus requires more resources to run well if even at all

I'm with Zhen Yi on this one, you'll be wanting a new PC before you think about running the PMDG models (and it would help with IVAP no end too...)

A good enough machine needn't be all that expensive - 1.5GHz+ processor, 512MB ram and a 128MB GFX card... until recently I was running an Athlon XP 1900+ with 768MB and an nVidia 5700 myself (and the only thing that has changed is I now have an Athlon 3200+)...

It must be 1000-1500$ for a PC like that Murray. At least in Turkiye prices are like that. So it is more sense to save that money for PPL. Because it is about 6000$. so there is a chose between a computer or a PPL. I can save that 6000$ in about 3 years I think. :)

Thanks for opinions guys.

Loves from LTBJ. ;)
