Member announcements in Teamspeak
EHM-1199 Philip:
Question for Cyriel or anybody else who knows - how can I stop those irritating member announcements on Teamspeak. The whole experience feels real and then all of a sudden in a clear and loud voice Teamspeak announces a member joining or leaving.
EHM-1365 Benjamin:
Hi,
If you goto Settings > Options
then click the sound notifcations tab,
then just go through the list there, (youll have to expand the different sections with the '+') and just press the clear button at the bottom to de-assign the sound.
Good luck,
EHM-1001 Robert:
Or more simply, enable the "Disable all sounds" option. ;)
EHM-1365 Benjamin:
LOL, didn't think of that one. :%
Still, I guess it is useful to here the "You were kicked from the channel"...so it is nice to choose which ones you want;)
EHM-0654 Murray:
One more thing... ;D
Here's a suggestion I picked up from the TS forums; go to Settings\Options and in the same place as the notifications you will see a volume slider. Turn that slider down completely (all the way to the bottom) then go one notch up (equates to 10%). That volume slider affects *only* the notification "broadcasts". They should then be quiet enough that you won't mistake them for "real" traffic, but loud enough that you can still (just about) hear them...
(Me, I also have most of the individual notifications disabled too...)
