European Tour

EHM-1657 Jay:
I am at the moment messing with that Award Tracker spreadsheet, now it says in there European Tour AND it says Capitals of Europe Tour, now I can find the latter but where do I find the European Tour, because on the tour page all I can find is the world tour but not the european tour.

EHM-1617 Iain:
I at first messed around with it too and then gave up on it - I find it personally easier just to rely on the award-giving program that runs every night. However I do have a word document where I keep a note of all the countries I fly in and all the planes I fly.

I think the spreasheet is out of date - the one you want is the Capitals tour i think.

EHM-1001 Robert:
In the past, there were European Tour, that was similar to the Capitals of Europe Tour. You could do it in 3 difficulty level, with 3 different route network. Then it was frozen, and only the hardest/longest version remained that became Capitals of Europe Tour.

EHM-1657 Jay:
Ok fair enough, so do I still need to use that spreadsheet or not? Isn't that why the AWARD request page is there or am I missing something here ?

If I look at what Iain is saying, it is all automated and you do not need the award tracker ?

EHM-0654 Murray:
Bit of both, really, Jay.

The website PIREP/award tracking (all backend) works and for the most part the bugs are gone (correct me if I'm wrong Bruno), but personally I'd like to get a little more data back from it.

The spreadsheet gives you direct access to your data, but it's another step you have to do manually. I have been tweeking the spreadsheet recently to get it to do a lot more automatically... not yet ready for "release" but shouldn't be too much longer.

Me, I will continue to work with both for now...
