Excited About New Flight Logger

We have all heard sooo much about this new flight logger to replace the existing one.

Is there any dates set as to when we will see the nice new version?

also is there any really nice NEW features?

Hi Blyth,

Currently the flight logger will enter beta state. That means that it passed the development tests (made by me and Armando Chibante) and will be tested by the Management.

When it passes the beta testing it will be deployed to everyone.

This new version have many new funcionalities, i will list some that I rememeber :

- Automatically IVAO PIREP registration. In a click you register your flight on the IVAO (currently only for IVAO, we are trying to make it to VATSIM too).

- You can now make the Tours using the Flight Logger too. All the Tours are already loaded.

- You have an automatic link to the RouteFinder. That means that when you choose a flight, you can click on the "Get Flight Plan" and it will give you the response from the RouteFinder.

- Some errors reported by pilots (engine's off problem, overflow problem, fuel problems, etc) are corrected.

- You can now place your plane automatically on the gate. It is possible because when you click on the designated flight, it opens a window showing all the gates for that departure airport.

- It detects when your airplane is departing and arriving on the airports that you selected. That means that if you land on another one it will not process your PIREP.

.. and more things that I dont remember right now ..

Wait a little bit more. Maybe next month it will be deployed.

All I can say is WOW! Congrats to all involved, sounds fantastic. I'll just hold my horses though until I have tried it myself (not that I doubt you guys at all though). Any idea how big the download will be?

Well, it will be the same as now ... not a big ideal in size ...
