IvAe 0.8.0 Public Beta released

Hi all,

At the IFC Conference in Blackpool the IVAO Software Development Team released the beta of the ,,Eye of IVAO“, nicknamed IvAe. This software should be a real alternative to ,,ServInfo“ or ,,WhazzUp“. The software is an innovation and includes for example these features:

-Smooth OpenGL map with lots of options and settings like textured/wireframed map in 2D or 3D
-Map with color coding, like colors based on user ranks, online time etc.
-60% less data from server than ServInfo/Whazzup to reduce download times
-Large database and advanced client identification
-ICAO flightplans
-Detailed pilot and controller information
-Search and filter clients and databases
-Displaying upcoming IVAO events and scheduling
-Various statistics based on downloaded data
-Route planning
-Advanced options like correcting user names or memorize members seen
-Display vehicles separately (Follow Me cars, Runway Inspection...)

But what is the follow me vehicles about? Could I be the fire service for example?

1 point: I would find it more natural if the scroll whell controlls were reversed.

Also how do I highlight/spotlight my friends - i put them in friends and press F2 but nothing happens?

follow me service is available with the next release of IvAp. It is... well, follow-me service. :)

F2 works only in wireframe mode (no textures!)
