Augusta 109 Autopilot
EHM-1570 Bruce:
I have flown the Augusta 109 helicopter a couple of times, but I had to hand fly it as I am unable to use the autopilot, if I press shift+F7 it brings up a panel showing some of the switches associated with the autopilot, but how do you select A/P on/off, nav/GPS etc, there is a black rectangular shape immediately below the panel containing the switches, but it does not seem to do anything. Any ideas from you chopper pilots?.
EHM-1001 Robert:
Hi Bruce,
unfortunately, you can see the Autopilot panel, but there is not any gauges for that. So the autopilot does not work on the included Agusta panel.
EHM-0654 Murray:
Umm, not sure where it is exactly, but try Hovercontrol. I'm pretty sure that the last time I used Al Devins Agusta the AP worked fine, but that is the public distribution of the Agusta, not the EHM specific distribution (no reflection on you Robert)
Unfortunately, my FS PC is all packed and ready to move to new house tommorrow. Still have my laptop, and I've got FS2002 installed on it, so if I get 15 minutes to check tonight, I'll see what turns up...
EHM-1001 Robert:
Well, I was searching for more versions of the Agusta, but have not found one with working autopilot. :{
EHM-1358 Tim:
I dnot think heli's have autopilot, only a few. I know how it feels when it takes ages to fly the plane even on a class one flight, I just use the heli's for fun now.
You could try and import the radiostack from the C172 and try and use that autopilot.
