PSS 777
EHM-1703 Philip:
Ok after hijacking another thread:
I am going to continue my posts here.
I have purchased the 777 from PSS and have a problem locking the ILS Glide Slope. Horizontal lock (Heading) tracks to the localizer fine, it's just the Vertical (Altitude) lock that does not track the glide slope. So Far I have followed Bruno's suggestion in the thread above, I have followed the tutorial directions for power up and I have decreased the realism settings as suggested in the PSS forum. The next course of action I have taken is to register my copy of FSUIPC to gain the battery protection feature and I am just waiting for an email with the unlock code. If anybody has any other ideas, please post them here.
Thanks for your help.
EHM-1001 Robert:
Hi Phil,
well it may sound dumb, but I had the same problem with the PMDG 737. Then somebody mentioned, at the approach, I should engage all the autopilots, (A+B there) so the airplane can follow horizontally and vertically the glideslope. Until I did not do that, the FMC pushed me into the ground always, so I had to do manual landings.
EHM-1703 Philip:
Hi Robert,
That's what I thought as well as the PSS Airbus uses both autopilots for Autoland and ILS Approaches, but I can only find reference to one Master Autopilot on the 777?
Anyway, I have the key for FSUIPC so I will try it with the Battery Fixed after work tonight.
Wish me Luck!
