Plane crash??

I just completed leg 7 of the Dakar tour. I completed the flight with penalties of 0.0. However, when I went to see if I could lock the plane for the next flight it was not there. Checking on the fleet page showed that the plane had crashed! :o   I certainly did not crash - I ended the flight by taxiing to the parking!

How could it have crashed if I got ZERO penalties?

Will I still be able to fly the rest of the flights - there is no spare plane available at GQPA.
