overcast wanted....
EHM-1511 Theodore:
Hi fel.captains...
My FS9 doesn't seem to have OVERCAST weather at all.Flying over areas under OverCast
conditions i can see clearly the ground under the plane.Clouds are always BROKEN or SCATTERED.
I have fsuipc v3.48 and AS2004 Weather Engine.
Any thoughts welcomed
EHM-1570 Bruce:
FSUIPC is now at Ver 3.53, I don't know if updateing to the latest version will cure your problem but it is worth a try.
EHM-1343 Jonathan:
On the flight simulator settings tab, on the main screen....if you click on display and then weather, you will see a sider for "cloud coverage density" or something like that....if you want very overcast conditions, move that slider to the top:P
EHM-0654 Murray:
And ActiveSky is up to VE (5 enhanced), and far better for it, but I have to agree that overcast is very rarely truely overcast in FS9. If you want my opinion, it's because FS clouds are 2D. Until FSX arrives with it's true 3D clouds, we have to put up with not entirely realistic weather.
