E mail Confirmation

EHM-1570 Bruce:
I have just tried to confirm my E-mail address by carrying out the required procedure, however after pressing the Confirm E mail  button I get the following message "You have an email confirmation attempt under way", and the page remained like fhis for 1/2 hour, before I  turned off Internet Explorer. I am sure this is not correct.

Did it just take a while for the email with the link to arrive (I think that's the guist of your posts)?
