What FS 2004 ATC does...

(1/3) > >>

EHM-1821 Javier:
Regarding a screenshot of FS2002 ATC mixing up traffic on the taxi way sending aircraft into each other and everyone not moving (I forgot where i saw it,screenshots forum or library)I remember someone saying that he has not seen it in FS 2004.

Now I have...

and what happens...

The 737 actually ran over the Learjet 45?!! Both aircraft were undamaged.

Dangerous stuff...:o:o:o

EHM-1671 Ben:
Wow, it looks like some divine miracle that no one was injured!!

I have never seen ATC in FS2004 do something like this. I thought they got 'smarter'... maybe not!! :D

EHM-E4S:
oh, that's nothing compared to when I saw an easyjet disappear while it was flying. I wish I had a screenshot, but it happens about once every two months, so i'll try to capture it next time.

What i don't get is how ATC is always so calm.

"Shuttle has exploded"
"shuttle has crushed audience"
"Pilot burning"
"Shuttle disintegrating"
"Shuttle blown up half of space station"

and they never raise their voice once. I came across something in an airport, where a VFR pilot was stuck in IFR conditions. It went like this.

"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! I'M IN A CLOUD! HELP!"
"Return to normal altitude"
"I'M GONNA CRASH!"
"turn radio to 118.0"
"I HAVEN'T GOT TIME! I'M GONNA DIE!"
"Return to altitude"

Luckily, the pilot found his way out of the cloud, but I just find that weird.

EHM-0744 Alex:
Ive seen that happen often in FS2004, some airports are horrible for that, it all depends on the layout, and if you know in advance get an AFDAC file from AVSIM, they have plenty for pretty much every airport you can think of.

Cheers,

Alex.

PS. Javier, are you spanish?

EHM-1821 Javier:
hi Alex!

No i am not Spanish. I am Singaporean.

Why did you ask? did i sound spanish?

Cheers!
