cruise speed and fuel burn

EHM-1821 Javier:
Does anyone know the maximum range(C208B), cruise speed(all) and fuel burn(all) of the 3 default boeing aircraft and the C208B in FS2004?

The cruise speed given by the info of the plane when i tried it out, the plane went overspeed at the cruise speed given

I just bought FSpassengers and my "company" has these aircraft.

Thank you
Regards

EHM-0654 Murray:
Hey Javier,

Is this one of those "wind chnges, aircraft overspeeds" things, 'cause the kneeboard data should be correct in all cases for the default aircraft (even if it's not "real world").

Off the top of my head, the 737 cruises between 0.790 and 0.810 (c. FL330) depending on cost index - 0.790 is about right for a CI of 100.

You'd really need an FMC for the Boeing birds, that understands the flight dynamics and load of the particular model, to get useable data. Not tried FreeFMC (or whatever it's called) because I went straight from not flying the 737 to the PMDG...

EHM-1821 Javier:
Hi Murray

Its not the kneeboard i meant although i have not checked it out.its the panel that shows the aircraft performance at the choose aircraft menu.

and i tested the plane in near perfect conditions so i dont think it is the wind causing it.

Ah, that thing. I've always considered that to be "not for navigational use" although it should be pretty close.

See if you can find a Werner Schott checklist (search on AvSim for "Schott") - he's done checklists for all the default planes since FS2000, and his FS2002/2004 checklists are pretty accurate - I use his 737-400 one with my fleet/PM 737-800 and haven't had any really nasty accidents.

EHM-1671 Ben:
I've never been able to reach maximum altitieds in FS... the highest I've ever gone was about 37,000ft. I can't maintain a fast enough airspeed to maintain altitude before stalling, it's very wierd.

And to sidetrack a little, how much is FSPassengers, Javier?
