Known problem: Pilot Profile

Maarten just informed me that there is
a problem in the Pilot Profile script,
possibly due to some recent server
upgrades.

It will be fixed as soon as possible.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

Ciao ciao!

Also in the "Hours TO" box, there are some weird incoherent signs..like :@#$%^&** ...

What does that mean ..??

Gotcha!

I found the problem but because I found
it not where I thought I'd find it, I have
to talk with Maarten first and it might
take a bit more time. Gimme another 48
hours, but in the meantime, enjoy some
refreshed (today) hub statistics through
the "Hubs" page under the "Company"
menu.

Ciao ciao!

I guess you have some scripts that run at your command for updating statistics? I mean they are not automatic, right?

So why not make them automatic? (I'm just asking out of curiosity)

Prediction of Management reply : It takes a lot of processing power to generate the stats and thus we can only update them once every few weeks or so

or

That script is not intergrated into the database and is troublesome to let it update itself automatically

Dunno.......cant remember the exact reason given :P

The problem with the pilot statistics have
been solved.

The hub statistics are not refreshed automatically
because the methods we have available to do so
are kind of akward and far from ideal.

But I might be able to do something about it
as soon as I have a moment to breath here
at work...

Never noticed they weren't up to date

I always thought they refreshed like the pilot profiles, thus everytime you accesed the page, it would generate the UTD statistics
