I have done some flights recently in this iarcraft, and I have found a couple of what seem like errors in the aircraft.cfg file. The first issue is that the aircraft is supposed to cruise at 300kts, however if you exceed 270kts you will get an overspeed penalty, the second issue is that the nose wheel is not in contact with the ground. To overcome these issues you should edit the aircraft.cfg file as follows (make a backup first): 1 open the file and scroll down to the [Reference Speeds] section and change the max_indicated_speed to read 350. 2  Scroll to the [Contact_Points] section go to the line starting with point.0=1, and change the third set of numbers from -6.159 to read -5.900. The nose wheel will now be in contact with the ground.

Thanks Bruce. How do I open .cfg files? I've read many documents saying that I need to do this but don't know how.
