Unchecked Pireps
EHM-1838 Andrew:
I have just taken a look at my stats page and i see that there are unchecked pireps some flights well over a month old .I was just wondering if there is any reason for this is it normal practice?
cheers Andy
EHM-1703 Philip:
Whats your EHM ID Andy?
EHM-0641 Rico:
it would also be great to have a email be send to the pilot if a Pirep was rejected.. and what the reasong there for was..
Lately I've been missing some submitted pireps, and never saw them again ...
EHM-1703 Philip:
Can't speak for the other Hub Managers, if ever I have trouble with a manual PIREP I always email the pilot.
I must admit though, I get a lot of problems with Pireps that are filed manually. (Normally Time and Date related) I would like to encourage as many people as possible to use the Flight Logger whenever possible. Remember, even if you aren't on line, you can still use the Flight Logger and save the PIREP and file it later when you go online.
I understand that there are some reasons for using the manual Pirep still, on the whole though, there is no reason why the vast majority of Pireps can't be filed using the Flight Logger.
Lastly, just a suggestion, if you have a problem with Pireps, try emailing your Hub Manager first, if you get no joy there then contact Bruno. As you can see from the above, by making a post in the forums, you still don't get your questions answered any quicker, especially when we have no idea who you are or what Pireps you are reffering too.
EHM-1838 Andrew:
Hello there
my id is 1838
I don't use the flight log program because i don't want any more programs than is necessary running in the background.I already use Activesky,Fs nav,ai smooth etc and i don't really want any more.I understand that you want people to use the logger but if the option of manually submitting pireps is offered then it should work.PS how do i find the E-mail of my hub manager?
Cheers Folks (its to dammed hot the
UK is turning into Arizona)
Andy
