You're lucky! I had a complete FMC failure lol! the waypoints were still typed in, but the route was gone!:o

I must admit though, those are pretty bad!

I personally think we should reschedule the flight to another time, considering that all pilots were lost, and there wasn't much ATC.

I had bad luck also... it was too much time since I flew last time online, so I had a lots of trouble, bad conversations, bad procedures, etc. Also the Brussels CTR guy transferred me to a parallell jetway to my desired flightplan, and I could not found the intersection he commanded me to...

Here are some pics before takeoff. At least it was a good opportunity for a testflight with the new 747 repaint... :s

Standing at the gate. The guys are preparing:

Starting engines...sorry Matt, I thought you will simply overtake me ;)

Lining up 25R, Matt is following:

Rolling...Razza came online:

Airborn...EHM fleet in the background...any survivor of this flight ???

Maybe next time...

EDIT: Ok, they're good!

Anyway, Don't worry! I was a bit scared of overtaking a 747! but it was no problem!

I think I speak for everyone when I give this Flight a decent rating:

Would have been great apart from the problems.

we really should do the whole thing again. Maybe tomorrow?

It wasnt a disaster matt...it was great fun...and I think disaster is a bit harsh on Conrad and Murray who made it...

It wasn't there fault. You're right, it was the wrong word, so I'll change it.

It was a good idea, and it's a shame it didn't go to well, for some pilots, but I'm sure the people who were able to do it had great fun, so thanks to Murray and Conrad, who always do a good job at this, it's just a shame it didn't turn out to well.

No I never (it was Iain and Conrad if mem serves...)

But Tim B and I flew it again today and despite a butt load of troubles for me (the CDU isn't driving the MCP/PFD for some reason, and my Madchester scenery is just that, mad...) we both made it to EGCC.
