F1 ATR-72-500 for Class2?

(1/4) > >>

EHM-1947 Miko:
Hi,

after my first Class1 Flights on the B1900D I will soon be proud member of Class2.

On of the possible class2 - aircraft is the ATR-42.

Somewhere in the Forum I have read, that it is allowed to substitute the ATR-42 by the Flight 1 ATR-72-500.

Is that correct?

I would rather prefer to fly the 72-500, because I am allready very familiar with it.

EHM-1821 Javier:
Hi Miko, the class 2 aircraft are currently the Dornier 328 and the ATR 42.

The MT are going to replace the ATR42 with the ATR 72, so currently, you can only fly the ATR42

Hope this helps.

EHM-1465 Dominic:
It's also not going to be a direct swap, the ATR-72 will be in Class 3.

See this thread for a full explanation:-

So if you get some practice in on the ATR-42 now, you'll be a class 3 pilot by the time the 72 rejoins the fleet... :P

EHM-1947 Miko:
Allright - Thanks!

EHM-1001 Robert:
Yes, Dom said everything ;) In the past we allowed pilots to switch for ATR-72, but now it is useless...you do not need to wait so much more ;)
