This time i have decided to take the plunge and go for my C2 exam once again at my Favorite airport Heathrow!
The exam will take place on:
Thursday 17th August 2006 (this week) @ 18:00z @ EGLL
Support from you guys would be nice - remember its Heathrow Director not Heathrow Approach ;)
See you there,
Regards,
EHM-1821 Javier:
Good luck with that! I wont be there, its always 1800z...
EHM-0654 Murray:
Jav,
They run for at least an hour (and in the case of C2/C3, much longer), so I'd not be the least bit surprised if Conrad was still controlling come 2000Z (maybe even 2100Z)
@Conners: will try to be there for you mate - don't need to worry about VFR for the C2, do you?
EHM-1798 Conrad:
Nah,
here are the requirements listed on the GB site:
Ability to use a SIDs and STARs given the appropriate charts.
Use of Approach Plates from Sector System.
Vector minimum of three aircraft successfully onto the ILS for approach.
Handle an missed approach and vector back onto the ILS.
Handle at least three departing aircraft (with or without SIDs, as decided by the Instructor and the pilots at fly-ins) for hand-off to center.
Handle an Engine Failure during approach for an emergency landing.
Handle a variety of emergencies (aircraft without DG/compass/ASI/etc.)
Give vectors for a visual approach.
Demonstrate use of stacks (holding points) to regulate flow of aircraft onto an ILS approach
But i should be ok ;) - hopefully ;)
