Taxiing with the Beech 1900D

<< < (2/2)

EHM-1651 Christian:
Well that depends if you are going for a yoke of a stick, the Ch Yoke is good i feel, as I'm unsing it myself. But on the joystuck side i think the Saitech X-45 is rather good Ask Jonathan about that:P
But where you can get it in Dublin I don't have a clue....

EHM-1703 Philip:
You Could always look no Ebay for a second hand Microsoft Sidewinder. They are hard to come by new these days, but they are not a bad budget stick. The Saitek X52 is the latest all singing and dancing Stick and Throttle combo www.overclockers.co.uk has them quite well priced not sure if they will send to Dublin but I would have thought so. As Christian says though, if you want the best, Get a CH Yoke or a CH Fighterstick! Have a look at http://www.chproducts.com

EHM-1981 Kris:
Thanks, for clearing it all up. After some extensive training ;), I got the hang of the accelerating/decelerating. I also found out that the other Class 1 airplane, the Sukhoi has far better taxi-habits, but I find the Beech a lot nicer to fly.
For the joystick-part, I use a MS Sidewinder, with the mentioned twisty-feauture, I can't hardly imagine how I would taxi  without it.

EHM-1980 Brian:
yeah just had a look at the CH it looks pretty cool - i have seen an MS Sidewinder in PC World recently so might go for that as it would be quicker than buying of the net!
