EHM-1703 Philip:
Brian, regarding your ProPilot crash, I have emailed you.
EHM-1980 Brian:
ok phil thanks i will have a look now.... :'(
EHM-1001 Robert:
Hi Brian,
as I passed Class 4 in editing the flight dynamics, I realized that effect appears on all of the Turboprops ! I heard that this is a known effect on single-engine airplanes, and is caused by the so-called "P-effect". You can edit its strength in the reality settings of the game.
Funny thing is, it seems the game cannot recognize double engine turboprops, where the engines are rotating symmetrically to compensate any nasty torques.
I hope that helps.
EHM-1883 Matt:
I have rudder Pedals myself, and every single take-off I do, it always moves a bit to the left. It is also very annoying for me, but if you do have rudder pedals, you have to do it very gently.
EHM-1555 Kendy:
LOL yes Robert is right, the rotation of the propellers makes this effect,....
believe me, when I flew my first prop in real life it was kind of hard to find a feeling to push with your right food so gentle, that airplane rolls straight .
After some takeoff it was easy.
mircrosoft did a good job to put this real effect in the simulator
best,
kendy
P.S by the way, you should have seen my first taxiing , curve, curve (Cessna 172, Manassas KHEF airport 10/ 2002.......in this case fl;ight simulator is much easier than in real life ( and everyone has to start with a small airplane where you have to use you rudder, later on in a big jet you have a taxi wheel :>
