DC-3 for regular flights?
EHM-1947 Miko:
Hello Philip,
thanks for your long and friendly statement - you are right: EHM has got a large fleet and there is indeed no reason you have to apologise for - it is the most "liberal" VA I know.
But therefore I dared to ask weather it were possible to fly the DC-3 instead of the Beech 1900 - who has to worry about that? OK - realism. But is EHM really a realistic Airline? There are allready loads of different planes that would never make oeconomical sence in real life. Why would one nice old plane more make the airline unrealistic?
And isn't it better EHM Pilots fly for EHM (EHM planes - either vintage or modern - of cause in a good way to represent EHM) and increase the presens in the virtual skies instead of flying privately as noname pilots?
I would like to understand your point.
But as a EHM "employee" I of cause accept the decision of my "employers" :] - really no problem.
EHM-1982 Carlos:
I think there's nothing written about using a different aircraft with similar performance, in other words, select a B-1900D and fly the DC-3
EHM-2089 Vincent:
Hmm Carlos you seem to be giving a good Idea indeed. DC3 is a totally different plane including landing procedures ... you need to touch the front wheels first, also the front wheels come off last off the ground on take off ... you can dip the plane and land etc ... its a fun plane to fly around too.
