Advised sceneries packed all in one. Brought to you by Tamas:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/e16d3d/

It is a bit tricky. Look for the Download for Free link somewhere in the middle of the screen...maybe needed twice between ad blocks.

It is a RAR archive, so you will need WinRAR to get it ;)

Here we are, 2nd and 3rd leg, nice weather, easy flights. I had a couple of PC crashes, so I started again twice :(

Preparing for take off at Portimao...

Airborne, let's go to Malaga!

Approaching the airport of Faro, on the way

Low approach, not too low though

Passing the Spanish border...

Quite populated Seville

Approaching Malaga

Parked at Malaga

Take off again, third leg, to Africa!

African coast in sight, we change Continent

Approaching Nador Arwi airport

Clear to land

Landed

Vacated, funny buildings without windows

Chatting on ground at Nador, hot weather outside

Nice flights, I had nice chats with Trevor all the way. Hope to meet him again on the way to Dakar.

Safe flights everybody
Cheers

The painting of the Beech is absolutely amazing - I will keep it for the future as one of my favourate planes. Great job, Róbert!

Hi Bruno,
just finished leg 4 at GMFK with plane ID1010.
When locking the flight for the next leg there is nothing for the 1010.
Could you please help me with it?
Appreciate it very much.

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

I was flying the GMFK-GMMZ flight, but when I tried to submit the pirep, it said the website had exceeded it's 20% blah, you know what I mean, but I tried later, it accepted my flight, but due to the website system, it said it can't accept it as a Propilot flight. If you look at my flight page, the flight is there, but it was only counted as a normal flight. Do I need to re-fly the flight?

Does anybody know where to get a chart of Tan Tan (GMAT)?

Even Navigraph hasn't got one.

No ILS, no chart - only St. Exupery would cope ;D

Bruno, could you also transfer my plane to GMMZ, since I did do the flight?

UPDATE: Also, it says my planes at GMFK, but it isn't there on the PP lock page

Am I travelling in a different world to everybody else? I'm lookinf at everybody else's screenshots and just not recognising these places.
My world seems to have airport runways stuck at the top of a 4000foot cliff and in the case of the last two locations with a similarly high lake next door and the rest of the land flat!! Something very weird going on here!!

In fact, having looked again ... I seem to be flying over a permanent sea level plateau with mountains in the distance faced off by impossible cliffs and then as I get closer, the mountains/cliffs retreat further away, only correcting when I get to an airport which is then sat on some impossible ledge like something out of a fantasy movie!! Something definitely wrong here. HELP!!

Have you installed any meshes or scenery? It sounds to me like a corrupted mesh file.

I think you're right Phil and it was one duff area. Half way to TanTan the whole thing started being normal again and everything seems OK. Might be able to enjoy normal scenery now :)

Hello people!

I don't really like taking screenshots but since I'm really enjoying this flights I tough I could share with you how I've been flying. This is the

GMMZ - GMAT

Estimated departure time: 2130Z (before t/o)
Actual departure time: 2135Z
Estimated arrival time: 2300Z (before t/o)
Actual arrival time: 2303Z

Well, the routing was very simple. Flying on the 242 outbound radial from OZT VOR/DME and then, when within range, fly the R-242 inbound TAN VOR.
A few minutes after having reached my final flight level of F180 and cruising at a speed of 180Kias, the cockpit instruments were reading a ground speed of +/- 200kts from OZT. After doing the math I had an estimated time for TAN VOR of 2300Z.
The entire cruise was normal. After I start receiving the VOR signal of TAN I changed the NAV1 to the TAN frequency and continued on the 242 radial.
Since TAN is only VOR (no distance) I had to plan my descent based on the time.
Estimating that my ground speed was about the same (I was already out of range from the VOR/DME OZT), I calculated the BOD (beginning of descent) at 2248Z with a vertical speed of 1500ft.
So, at that time I started to descent and checked that I was receiving the signal from Tan's NDB. Knowing it is at 38 DME I verified the current time and checked that the estimated time for the airfield was the same (2300Z).
I had visual conditions with the airport 4 minutes before flying over it.
I approached the field and flew over it to check the winds, then, joined the left downwind for runway 21 having landed at 2303Z and reaching the stand at 2305Z.

Well, that's it! Great event! Thanks euroharmony!:>

Wonderful FPS Luis!
I tried the same situation on FSX with a LRJ45 and got a FPS of 7-8. Awful!

Which PC config have you?

I have just a PIV 3GB 1GRAM GF6600GT and, boys, I realise I must renew it!

I can't use FSX, it is too slow!

Bye

@ Luciano ( If you remeber, on the 2006 Dakar was the guy who help you with the MTL.....eheheheh)

My hardware config is :

Motherboard - Asus P5B
CPU - Intel dual core (2) E6400
RAM - 2GB
VideoCard - Nvidea 6600GT (the same as you)
HD - Maxtor Sata II - 250GB

When vista and the news videocards dx10 come out, i'll be a buyer.....

My first impression on FSX was a total frustation, but after some days of try and error....i get success running it.

That's right, Luis!

You helped me to get the right livery...

Nice flights in 2006 too!

I will wait for Vista and Dx10 and then think about changing PC config... :)

Thanks Luis.

Leg E008 Zoueratt-Atar...

Not an exciting route, so I have only few shots:

Leaving the airport of Tazadit, Zoueratt for a short flight this time

Landing at Atar, some wind from left hand side...

Atar apron, closing down

Next one Tichit GQNC, we'll see :). Well, at least we have one day rest.

Cheers,
Luciano
