EuroCargo In Focus - The Boeing MD-17
EHM-0654 Murray:
Nope, reverse only works when your plane is 0ft AGL.
And you can't control pushback reverse like you would in the real aircraft (using the nosewheel)
It annoys the heck outta me... you've not seen "lift dump" 'til you idle reverse in flight at altitude :D
EHM-1500 Jim:
Great series Dominic - has got me flying cargo flights for sure.
Keep up the good work.
Jim
EHM-0990 Dick:
nice screenshots, good article and ofcourse a perfect repaint job.
well done guys.
But can anyone tell me, where to find some directions to fly this giant.
you know, speed limits, climb and decent rates, and so.
happy flying dick de Flyboer
EHM-1343 Jonathan:
great work Dom, a fantastic demonstration of a truly versatile machine!
EHM-1001 Robert:
Great article Dominic ! I have not tried but maybe you can use the reversers for pushback in FS2004...it works on smaller planes to.
Dick, you can find basic flying data always next to the airplane. On the page where you download it, we always provide you advised speeds for takeoff, landing, and an advised climb and descent profile. These are not just numbers copied from the net ! These are already tried out so you can trust in those. Of course these are just basic advices and the real thing is mainly depends on the weather and your actual payload. The numbers are made for worst case, so those will probably fit your taste ;)
