2008-03-02 Management Restructure
« on: March 02, 2008, 11:44:09 pm »
As per the recent news release, the management of the airline has recently been reviewed and will be restructured to provide a higher quality and quantity of content to our pilots.

To most of our pilots this will make little difference to your day to day duties at the airline although we hope it will increase your enjoyment and interest.

The main thrust of this reorganization is to split the management in to two distinct teams. We will have a "Development" division and an "Operations" division. Each division will have a hierarchy that will allow more freedom within in the management and greater creative input from all members.

Each Division will have:

1 x Director
2 x Captains
4 x Officers (minimum)

These are not to be confused with our airlines pilot ranks these roles are merely given these titles so you can relate the positions to each other.

All of the current positions within the management team will be replaced with the exception of the President who will remain the at the head of the airline! The first thing that you will probably notice is that we will no longer have "Hub Captains" instead we will have a group of "Operations & Support Officers" who will look after the day to day duties at each hub.

The new Management roles and personnel are outlined in the image below.

As you will notice, we have a new addition to the management in the form of Miguel Coelho EHM 2066 who will be one fo the new Operations & Support Officers. As always, we trust you will welcome him to the team!

We would also like to honor a number of Management members who will be stepping down from the MT due to real life commitments so please join us in wishing Maarten Pols, Jonathan Rasmussen & Peter Hribar the very best of luck and I hope they will remain with us as pilots for a long time to come.

This posting concludes the initial restructuring, more details will be forthcoming in the near future about our particular roles and we will also be seeking applicants for vacant positions in the airlines management from within the airline initially so please keep an eye on the announcements and news releases.

We hope that you will see this change as a positive move for the airline and we look forward to your continued support.

Many thanks,
The "NEW" Management team
