EHM-0962 Zhen Yi:
Just thought of something........what does the rules say about time deceleration? like 1/2x and so on.........could easily be used to turn a short flight into a looong one if you know what i mean

EHM-0361 Karsten:
I can see that you got a point there. I don't think that Gergely have thought about that. But on the other hand the ops manual do stat:
--- Quote ---
It’s permitted to fly at a simulation rate of 2x, 4x… as you have to submit your PC time.
--- End quote ---
If it had been allowed to use ½ x, I guess the rule would have said so. But still I can see your point, there is a gray area right there. But perhaps MT think that it's common sense, not to use deceleration

EHM-0744 Alex:
I think it is common sense not to deccelerate, the sense of accelrating is to go faster over ocean, desert... But to deccelerate??? It doesnt make sense, if you want to make flight hours and have x time to use, you can use it for 1 slow flight or two normal ones... It just doesnt make sense.

Anyways, anybody got an anecdote of what they did when they got bored on a long trip????;D;D;D

EHM-0962 Zhen Yi:
decelerate to take more time to look at the scenery? ;)

EHM-0001 Gergely:
I admit I didn't thought about that so I didn't include it in the manual.

Decelerating might come handy if you're e.g. on final approach and you have an old PC (so you get low FPS and going with 'normal' speed won't allow you to correct mistakes...), however I think that would last only 1-2 minutes.
