No panel Saab 2000
EHM-2155 Mariano:
The thing is that Euroharmony doesnt employ modelers. The modelers are 3rd party, the models we use are just their models repainted with the EHM colors. We rely on their effort and it would be wrong to ask any more of them because they're doing it for free. A working virtual cockpit is a lot of work... There are even payware airplanes which dont include one...
I personally can't fly without a 2d cockpit. I mean the 3d cockpit is surely nice... but unless you have a really big screen and good resolution the numbers and gizmos become unreadable, and its not the same as sitting there as the panning of the views is kinda slow and you dont access information quickly like sitting in a real cockpit. For me the 2D panels are "condensed" versions of the whole cockpit and suited enough for a simulator...

Wow, I found the other person in the flight simulation world who feels the same way as I do ;)

In this case, you should both be glad to know there are at least three of us :8 . I never did a complete flight using VC (while using FS2004, things may be different with FSX ?).

Don´t get me wrong. I am depent on the 2D panels myselfe. I switsh between main, radio, electrical ect. in 2D but like to look around from VC when nothing spesial is going on.
I actually believed all FSX planes had VC but since they don´t I will manage without ;)
However there is the issue of the stripped VC in ATC 72-500. Anyone knows what that´s about?
And thanks for your replies guys :>
Sincerely
Ronny
EHM-1465 Dominic:
Ronny,
I don't use FSX but I'd have to guess that panels work differently in FSX than FS2004 so either the ATR-72's gauges are not compatible with FSX or they need to be put in a different place than in FS2004 - perhaps one of our FSX users can clarify this?
