A330 Cockpit view ..
EHM-2089 Vincent:
I was using a A320 for most of my flights and then on promotion I thought I should move on to a a different Airbus plane, so I chose the A330. I did notice that the A330 had a good VC but I found the same good causing a problem for me.
In the main cockpit view, looking forward there are no issues. But when I use the directional keys to look left / right, I find that the screen displays the cockpit view's left along with the VC left view. I tried copying and replacing the panel.cfg file with that of the A320 but that did not solve the problem. Any idea what could be causing the cockpit view's display (left / right / left corner (key 7) and right corner) to show up with the VC's views.
Also I am not getting the wing view when I press the 1 & 3 keys. The wing view comes up for the A320 and the above does not happen for the A320 at all.

Yeah I have that problem and not only that. When I switch to VC it drops my framerate to 10 and then I change views and its like "stuck" at 10. I have to change several times skipping the VC to get my good fps back.
Also when Im on the 2d cockpit and look in any direction, I see the 2d overlay over the VC, and my fps drops again. And when Im back to the forward view of the 2d cockpit, my fps is still low. So I have to cycle backwards to spot view and back in to get my fps smooth again.
I think I tried getting any fixes from the maker's site but found none...
EHM-2089 Vincent:
Yup I had the same issue of drop of frame rates at the time of the 2d overlay of the VC window when cockpit side views are selected, forgot to mention that in my post.
I tried to fiddle with the panel.cfg file but it did not help much. I guess something has to be done in the aircraft.cfg file.
EHM-1001 Robert:
Unfortunately I am not aware of this problem, but you might want to try out this one:
[Fixed Window..]
render_3d_window=0
... in the panel.cfg, for each window definitions. ;)
If it does not work, try the Position=7 editing, again in each Window definitions. I do not have other ideas...
The FPS drops comes simply because the 3D rendering needs more video power than a 2D bitmap view ;)
EHM-2089 Vincent:
Thanks Robert, will try the same and revert.
