missing 2D panel

EHM-2131 Bruce:
Hi All. could anyone suggest how to get the 2D panel back. after a computer crash, i cannot get a 2D panel on any plane. there is just a black square were it should be, if i run the mouse pointer over the black square the pop ups can be seen but no  gagues, if i undock the out side view i can get it back but cannot see out of the window. the 3d is ok and tower  and spot , some times i get a weird colours in the sky that i can fly through and the sky gets back to normal, Regards Bruce T EHM 2131
