Barack Obama Event : Country reservations
EHM-RUWU-TILLEY:
Hi, newbie doing first pro-pilot event. How do I lock flight in pro-pilot. I can see my flight and its reserved for me but how do I lock it. Hope you can Help.
EHM-2097 Andrei:
Hi Andy,
The procedure is (as you may have discovered by yourself) to go into the PP section of the site, "Lock Flight" tab. There you select the airport, MROC in your case, then you should see one line with your aircraft, highlighted in green and marked with your name.
To lock a flight you should click ON THE TAIL NUMBER. This opens a popup with all the flights you can do (in our case, only one to KDCA). Click on it and you have your flight locked!
If during any one of there steps you received an error or refusal message, please specify it in order to get more help. Or specify where you encountered any behaviour different from the one described above.
If nothing seems wrong but you still cannot lock the flight, I can only think of one reason - which you won't like... It looks like your rank (CC) does not allow the selected aircraft (B763) and this can cause trouble.
However I am not sure this is the problem, I would like anyone who can to confirm or infirm it.
Andrei

Thanks for your help, after selecting tail No which is green. The next option box does not have any flights in it to select from. Andy.T
EHM-0948 Bruno:
Yes, the airport is Reagan and not Dulles...
EHM-1001 Robert:
Okay, changing it in FMC, and reporting the change to security personnel. 7000' runway is enough for landing but critical for takeoff, so I will rather fly the plane afterwards to Dulles and prepare the return flight from there.
The 7000' runway has the "impossible river approach" can be seen in FS videos. I will try to do it with the 747 too... lets see what is the end.
