Strange Fuel Consumption Reports

(1/3) > >>

EHM-0695 Scott:
Why do I see many pilot reports showing negative fuel consumption? That really seems to mess up the statistics.

EHM-0001 Gergely:
let me make a guess... after landing, the pilot stops near a refuel area, so the fuel will be 100%, so it will be greater than the initial value... and the Flight Logger gives a negative value as a result. Or, the pilot 'refuels' during flight, and the same problem occurs. Maybe Armando can give a solution to it (e.g. the logger will stop recording the fuel amount if it becomes greater than the previous value).

EHM-0744 Alex:
When I use the logger It's always shown negative numbers for fuel consumption, I never really thought it would mess the statistics... I always thought it was that way.

EHM-0240 Joe:
Hasn't all of this got to do with the whole issue of whether you start the flight logger when you already have engines running. If this is the case, I'm sure Armando fixed this and people need to update their logger.

EHM-0744 Alex:
It may well be Joe... I do start the flights with the engines running, have to update my logger.

Cheers,

Alex;)
