Air France A330 lost...

(1/2) > >>

EHM-1001 Robert:
Connection lost with an Air France A330 flying from Rio to Paris.  Connection lost somewhere over the the Atlantic Ocean. According to rumors the plane probably crashed into the ocean...

EHM-1465 Dominic:
I think that the Search & Rescue teams have found a debris field now so total loss seems confirmed. Tragic.

EHM-1001 Robert:
Yes, very sad. And very strange. There were 32 nationalities on the plane, 4 Hungarians.

The media somehow found a relative of the family and they quickly presented the whole family's photos in the evening news. They gathered those from the net with a quick search on a Hungarian friend-collector site: IWIW. The family have last logged-in to have a chat with friends on Sunday...

I am very interested what have really happened there. I hope they will find the recorder and can analize it in time.

EHM-2155 Mariano:
Its very strange indeed... the A330s dont fail just like that, they have a good reliability record, and Air France is not known for letting their aircraft fly with low maintenance...

EHM-2029 Sotiris:
Well, if anything, AirFrance has itself a very peculiar title.
They're the first airline to have a total loss on the A320 (1998, Mulhouse), the A330 (now) and A340 (Toronto).

Does anyone know if they have received their A380's yet??
