Hello ALL
I have been trying to open the downloadable timetable which is an MS Excel file.I don't have MS office, but i do have open office(free office suite),but i am having know joy. When i try to open the document i am getting what appears to be  a spreadsheet page but with no sign of any flights.
Open Office is supposed to be able to handle MS office documents.
Any ideas chaps.
thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

I also use Open Office and I've not had a problem with this before but when I downloaded the timetable and tried to open it just now, the same thing happened to me. I then went to File/Open and selected the location of the timetable.xls file again and then it did open but only after about 20 seconds. For some reason it seems to be sluggish at the moment but I don't know why...

Murray - any ideas if there's a problem with this program at the moment?

EHM-0654 Murray:
It won't even run on my VM here at work, so I'll see if it works on my NetBook, otherwise it'll be me installing it on our print "server" (which runs XP) to test it...

Well, the downloader works on my netbook, so that's hurdle #1 crossed. Only problem seems to be that the XLS file is only 2 bytes big. Trying run as Admin, 'cause you never know...

Update: Well, even under XP I get a 2 byte file from the downloader, so appears that it no longer works (for some reason).

Hello Dominic
Well at least you can get yours to work.I tried waiting 20-30 seconds but no joy, just that spreadsheet page again and no flights.
PS
I thought i would try the timetable instead of using the Flogger to choose flights in view of the problems with the Flog closing with that error message i posted about the other day.
cheers Andy

I must have had an old version on my PC - tryint afresh just brings up the 2 byte file that Murray found...

However, I'm posting the old version below as an attachment in case it's any use to you Andy (unfortunately it hasn't got any of the new flights or Missions) ;)

EDIT:- I tried attaching it and that didn't work so here's a link to download it:- LINK HERE
