EHM-0654 Murray:
(*BUMP* finally managed to upload the photo I took on the first leg, don't ask...)

Very nice pictures Luis. Is that default or add-on scenery there? I hope to have some screen shots of my own once I get a little more settled in X-Plane.

Here's a small impression of my first leg :)

Mid Valley in sight!

As you can see, most of the paint is already slapped on in more or less the right place. It's those last 20% that make the work, eh?
Well, at least I now know which parts of the paintkit to paint hehehe...

EHM-1465 Dominic:
Lovely shots there E-J and I can see that Aerosoft Twotter paintjob is coming along really well ;)

Here's a couple of my own FS9 pictures for the first leg:-

Great shots all around!

Yesterday afternoon, Trevor (EHM-1829) and I (EHM-2155) met up in KELP on IVAO, and got it under way to fly our first flight together.

It got off to a rough start since I didn't remember much about flying online, luckily everything got sorted out in time to find out one of my engines would not start up. That set us back 10 minutes as I looked for the cause, which I didn't find, so I reloaded the plane and it worked. Both engines running we taxied and took off.
As I have nearly no experience flying VFR, I suggested we flew to the TCS and then ONM VORs, ran smoothly, seen some good sights although most of it being a desert.
Nearing landing, Trevor went in first while I held at about 20 miles away, above WUBBY, as his first attempt was thwarted by some throttle control problems. On his second run he reported having to cut off the engines totally to get the Otter to come down :D
Soon after I turned in to the airfield and with a semi foggy visual on it, went in over the trees almost hitting several of them on my way. I came down like a meteor and didn't know when I had touched down because the plane sits so high up and the runway is so thin, it's tricky. I am fairly sure my front wheel touched down before the other two. I need some practice  ;D
After landing, the worst part of the flight was the fact Trevor's FLogger said it didn't get enough information to submit the flight. This might have been caused by him shutting his engines down mid flight? Rotten luck there as he will have to fly the leg again.

All in all it was a really fun experience.
The next leg is friday and if anyone else wants to join us in IVAO, they're very welcome.

Also, it was a good first experience with the new Flight Logger... worked perfectly.
