A suggestion:
When I joined EHM, I was as enthusiastic.
But after some time, when I realized that I wanted to help, I also
realized that to talk and give ideas doesn't really cost much.
Which is why almost everybody has great ideas but not really many
make it through reality.
That's why I picked up one of the ideas I had in mind and made the
first version of the badgeGenerator. I put effort (and time) into it and
I made something, first for other to enjoy, second to prouve my
commitment and my skills.
Maybe, if you move along a similar path and prepare
a prototype page that show us your vision, your
attention to detail and your skills, without asking
everybody to jump aboard but simply asking what we
think about it, people would be a bit less defensive
and more open to your ideas.

an idea just struck me! not sure if it's appropriate to post it here but still........here goes
would it be possible to add a feature to the flight logger such that when a pilot uses it to fly and is at the same time also connected to the net, a boarding call message is displayed when the pilot is on the ground, an XXXX has departed from XXXX message when he/she takes off and XXXX has arrived at XXXX when he/she has landed on the front page? :P just a mainly cosmetic feature but it would be nice to have it in if possible.....but of course other airline priorities comes first! ;)
