Return of the...
EHM-1001:
Hi mates,
Robert Szikszo here. After about 10 years of absence I am planning to return to flight simming and also to the community. But is is so hard.
First of all, I was waiting for 2 years so the chip prices were low enough. Finally I could build recently a tough Ryzen system, which can run smooth the long waitied MSFS 2020. But I am not satisfied :D In the good old days with FS2004 and FSX we had a ton of freeware stuff. We could fly almost free to anywhere. We could choose any good aircrafts. Freeware stuff was very good quality at the level of the sim capacity. Some were even better than the sim itself. Also there were a lot of paywere planes and scenery, and I could choose a few at my own taste. But now, I cannot find any good freeware stuff. The sim quality level became so high, it is understandable that noone wants to put hundreds of development hours to not get paid for it. 20€ for this plane 30€ for that airport... as I see it became a very very expensive hobby. I cannot really imagine how can you fly the 40 different EHM aircraft in the new world. OR do you still use FSX or FS2004?
So what is the situation now at EHM? Cheers all!
EHM-1001:
Hello guys!
I know quite late but I am slowly getting deeper and deeper into MSFS 2020. Since I have prepared almost all of the current fleet repaints I was interested in creating again repaints in MSFS 2020. Everything has changed: the technology, the quality, and unfortunately I lost my base materials, in recent years. But anyway I have to recreate everything from scratch because the texture quality increased significantly so the old graphics would look awfully on these shiny new planes. So I started with basic things, like the EuroHarmony name and logo. There is not a clear hires version remained from it, so I started from scratch. Here is my first attempt as attachement. I am going slowly, but the big plan is to make the A320neo and the B747-8I (available free models) repaint in EuroHarmony colours.
Currently I do not own any of other payware aircraft so I cannot promise surely more repaints. But who knows ;)
Best regards,
Robert

Hi Robert, long time no see, yes I agree, the move to MS2020 is expensive if you want to fly a variety of planes, l have invested a lot in fsx money and time wise, so the prospect of spending again to build up the new hanger for me would be step too far at the moment , l know fsx and fs9 are way out of date, but there is still plenty of payware and freeware still out there, to make it worth while still using them , nice to here from you again, regards Bruce EHM2131
EHM-1829 Trevor:
Welcome back Robert. ;) I think we are all looking forward to seeing EHM liveried aircraft back in the air. I hope your enthusiasm and effort come to fruition mate.
We have been lacking a Painter for quite some time. ;D
Cheers Trevor
EHM-1001:
Thank you guys the kind words.
I have to learn some more tricks, because painting is now half Photoshop/half Blender job :D What should be linear in reality... sometimes tilted/curved on the texture. In the good old days textures were easier to edit.
The A320 is slowly taking shape on the painting board:
Best regards, Robert
