EHM dreamliner colours

EHM-1343 Jonathan:
Is there anyone at EHM able to repaint the POSKY 747-400 in the Dreamliner-EHM colours, an improvisation of the Dreamliner scheme a bit like this

It would be good on the 747 by POSKY because I don't think that the Meljet 747 handles very well

EHM-1001 Robert:
I guess you meant this one

What is the problem with the Meljet model? What do you mean by not handles very well? Do you have difficulties with flying the Meljet model? I have heard from real pilots that they are not satisfied even with the POSKY dynamics. I am afraid if you do so, then you should wait for the PMDG 747. Although it would not be a problem to make the repaint ;)

EHM-1343 Jonathan:
Great Robert, I just realised that the 747 would be heavy to handle with its size, so would the paint be OK if someone has the time

EHM-1001 Robert:
I still do not understand...do you feel the aircraft too heavy with the current flight dynamics? Is that the problem?

I think it is usual that on transcontinental flights it is absolutely full. It means there are lots of passengers and full of fuel. In this situation every aircraft is a little bit lazy and SID manouvers are a bit difficult. But when you land it after 10-12 hours, with almost empty tanks, I think it is quite handy. I think the only problem is the speed. As the 747 cannot go below 160 kts it is much harder to keep on the glideslope than a 737. Try to make an approach at 180 kts with the 737, and touchdown around 160-170 kts. I am sure it will be as much difficult as with a normal 747.

If you use it on shorter routes, than try to decrease the fuel load. Average fuel usage is about 3000 gals/hour for the 747, so you can calculate the needed fuel for a desired route. Also you can decrease the number of pax inside the "load" sections of the CFG file.

EHM-1343 Jonathan:
No, i just felt that after flying the 777 and also the A340 the 747 was heavy and also unresponsive, so I thought the POSKY was more realistic, but I flew it with a light fuel and payload and it was the same, so its great because its realistic.

Hope I am a bit clearer
