Title: Pro Pilot
Post by: EHM-1800 Franz on December 10, 2014, 11:58:45 am
Dear management,
dear EuroHarmony Pilots !

As now the cold season is beginning, I have again more time for flying virtuel - with EHM !
So I made a PP Flight (longhaul) and have been astonished to find myselfe among the Top 10 Pilots in 2 positions on the top !
Is nobody flying anymore PP flights ? Is it no more worth to fly it ?
I have also my doubts !
I don´t understand now how to earn the points or penalties ....
Although I made a bad landing (something didn´t work with my Feel There Airbus) and the aircraft stoped beyond the runway (in FS Passengers I made a crash and got "horrible") - in PP I made a "very good Flight" ????
Making a long haul you can earn the maximal points and lay back for the rest of the month and you will stay on 1st place in average;  although you can after the start watch TV, go out with friends, ....   you earn your points while sleeping !
or if a pensioner with plenty of time  makes a few short hopes a day (e.g. London - Amsterdam) up and down, with fine weather, ....   -  he will be always on the top of "number of flights"
But this is not a challenge for pilots !!!
Why not making a new system :
Startingin the new year:
For example:  100 flights a year (1x a week), 10 longhauls minimum,
flying any time - at the end of the year the best 100 flights will be ranked
at least 5 different aircrafts,  1 PP event  or 1 EHM Tour
points our penalties based on FS Passengers  -e.g. bad weather approach should be regarded ...
maby at the end of the year a "play off " between the 3 best pilots - e.g. online flight  with dangerous airport landing, .....
Then you can say - "the Winner 2015 is  ....... "
Could this be  a new challenge for us !?!

What is your opinion  ?

Cheers to all

Franz

A while ago google disabled the API that was in use in the propilot flight locking system. As a result there was a period of time where it was not possible to lock a pp flight.

Recently this was re-enabled, so not all pp regulars are yet re-flying.
