I've altered the tour page to display who has signed up for the event.

Come on guys and get signed up!  ;D

I want to fly online with you on this one.

I'm in... will the flights lock automatically or do we have to go to the propilot page and lock them?
Just a question this whole new website thing is ... well... new

Well, it seems that I will miss this one too for we will be in Europe the whole month of May visiting our daughter who just took a 4-yr resident post as a Pediatrician in Spain. I may be able to do the first two stages though and probably the rest of them after coming back. No rewards, but the fun is always there.

Same here,
I'll be on holiday 3weeks in August, so I'll at least miss out on the second to last leg, I believe.
But let's first try and get there without crashing  ;D

Just a reminder to all pilots on the hub hop PP event that you will need to get over to WSSS to pick up the CRJs.

If you aren't planning on flying down there, it may be wise to request a deadhead.

There will be a 747 service running to bus pilots from CYVR-KATL-EGLL-WSS on both Friday and Saturday morning, so If you're in those locations, get yourself over to one of those airports and request a direct deadhead for an earlier dead-head flight (regular time up to 3 full days from request).

Is there another panel for the FS9 Challenger 850? It is honestly the most flat looking, confusing thing I've seen in a while...
Don't have much experience replacing panels so I'm asking here first :P

Top link on this page - http://www.simviation.com/fs2004panels4.htm (http://www.simviation.com/fs2004panels4.htm)

There's a $15 payware panel here: http://www.sky-decks.com/sdp-001.htm (http://www.sky-decks.com/sdp-001.htm) which is reviewed here: http://www.flightsim.com/main/review/crj200.htm (http://www.flightsim.com/main/review/crj200.htm)

There's also the wilco payware: http://secure.simmarket.com/wilco-regional-jet-vol1-crj.phtml (http://secure.simmarket.com/wilco-regional-jet-vol1-crj.phtml) which can be merged with our freeware exterior (which is better looking).

Thanks for the speedy response.
I just read your previous post talking about going to WSSS...? I thought propilot location only locked you to one place for 24 hours after you reached there. Then you could fly from anywhere (not on 'travel mode' anymore)... am I in the previous century or something? ^^

Yes, that's the way the old system worked, back then effectively a deadhead was instant as you pick the destination after you travel. Now you pick the destination before you travel.

The NG site uses the deadheading feature which takes between 0 and 3 days. You can basically tag a ride on another pilots plane (either directly or indirectly to your destination), but if within three days you haven't reached your destination, an AI aircraft will ferry you.

We are running some special ferry flights as described with pickups in Canada, the US and Europe to Singapore which will get you there quick running this morning and tomorrow morning.

Regarding event flights:

Flogger will pull your current event flight as long as you do not have another propilot flight locked and are at the correct location.

Simply get to the right place, remove any locked propilot flights, fire up flogger and start a new propilot flight. There is no need to lock the event legs.

Hello,
I am set at CYYZ for a deadhead to Singapore to start my first leg... Do I understand correctly that if nobody takes me out of there after some 3 days, I will be automatically "trasported" there? Thks for confirming.
Thks for your input,

Gian

o.k. guys, so far I understand - many things a very new for me !
My last PP flight brought me with the Twin Otter  to castlega CYCG
for this aircraft I had only a few PP choises to other small airfields -
what could I do, to make a flight to KATL or KSAN or KLAX to get there a heavy aircraft for the dest. WSSS ?

In the meantime I locked a deadhead - but what would have been the solution for me ?
My friend Yannick is flying for the first time on PP  -  can he lock in WSSS ?

Cheers
Franz

If your firiend has not flown propilot before, then his location will most likely be at his hub. He can see where he is by looking in his profile.

Almost certainly he'll need to set a deadhead like you have to Franz.

Don't worry, lots of the propilot mechanism has changed with the NG Website, so I'm sure everyone is having to learn how it works now.

To set a deadhead, you go to dispatch->propilot->set deadhead and pick WSSS as your destination. You'll find yourself there within 3 days max (but possibly less).

Due to the event I've been operating special ferry 747s to pick people up from hubs en route for WSSS.

The other option is to fly on propilot to a larger airfield (for you probably CYVR) and then grab a larger aircraft to hop across to WSSS (maybe via Heathrow).

You don't lock event planes.

If in WSSS and you're signed up for the event, make sure you don't have a propilot flight locked, open flogger Flight->New->propilot and it will grab your event flight.

Hi Alex still available the 747 service, cause I only have time for flying Thursday the first leg... I've many problems when I tried to fly EGLL-WSSS the last days :'( and it must be to request a direct deadhead from EGLL my actual PP location ???
Thanks

Does any of the fourteen PP Hub Hop Event survivors really like to fly online (VATSIM or IVAO) the last five, four or three legs? any suggestions? in order to try to fly together as the last Wild event  :-\

Thanks for suggestions  :)

Thanks Guys! Truly the best PP flights I have flown, a very well organized event, to be completed or started by fixed days only, kept me focused like an event pilot, and not something that one does "whenever" possible ;)

Congrats on finishing the event, Vincent!
I am still stuck at KJFK until I get back home sunday evening. Just in time to pick up the tour and fly all the way to Castlegar in three back-to-back hops before I go to work again Monday morning  ;D
No, kidding ;) KJFK will be probably on Sunday evening for me, then I'll fly out of KATL on Monday. Otherwise, it will have to be leaving KJFK on Monday, cutting it to the last day...

I landed on Castlegar today, tricky approach with a visibility of around 20 miles, quite fogged in for a visual. Had to go around once. But finally settled it in nicely.
So that's the tour over for me and congratulations to all others who made it, it was quite a trip!
