For those pilots who like increased realism in their sim flying, Dauntless software have just released a new version of their Simplates (http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/pr-ann/simplates-ultra-for-android-now-available-r697) package that you can use on your Android device!
Basically it allows you to download and view instrument approach charts and view them on your device - I'm intending to try it out on my Kobo Vox and use it as a small version of the devices many modern airlines give their pilots to view digital approach charts in the cockpit rather than thumbing through paper ones ;)
Looks worth a try at a very reasonable price too :)

Hi, on my Android Tablet i have been using Aviation Tools Free by Alexandre Del Bigio which has maps and another one worth a look is Aviation Pocket Knife.
