Dear pilots,

Tonight we finally solve the PMDG 747 unfair penalty (penalty ID=03).

We had run a script that had updated the FAC from pilots that flown the PMDG 747 with the EuroHarmony texture (yeap, we caught a lot of pilots that are not flying that texture but other ones) so check your re-calculated FAC's.

The aircraft technical id is : v4EHM-B744-PMDG. Any airplane flown without this technical id was not been updated.

Also, everytime you fly with the PMDG 747 EHM airplane even if you got that penalty on the flight logger, you will not receive it on the moment that you submit the PIREP.

We had made this because the FSUIPC doesn't caught the "Beacon lights" event. Somehow, PMDG had made a trick here ...

Great news !

Is it possible to check the previous PIREPs as well before v4 Fleet, when the identifier was "747-400 Euroharmony". Just in case it is not a big deal, otherwise not important. I hope that 60 points penalty did not pulled back anyone on the ladder. ;)

Dear Robert, dear Bruno !
I have the same problems with my PSS Airbus A330 and A340
I always get penaltys for the "runway lights" wich I really have settet each time. I would get the penaltys also from FS Passengers, but for my last flights I got "perfect" and in Pro Pilot I got more than 550 points for "runwaylights" wich is very annoing. Is this a bug in FSUIPC or PSS or what?

This is to do with the PSS Panel, hopefully we can get the same work around in the future but it may be a while off yet as Bruno has a busy time ahead! ;) lol

Yes unfortunately, and unluckily both bugs are came from the payware designers. In many cases, they do not uses inbuile FS variables, and FS systems, they use their own ones to build a more realistic simulation.

As FSUIPC can read only the standard variables, therefore there will always some bugs remaining that cannot be eliminated under PP.

Unluckily PMDG decided to not use the standard Beacon systems, and unluckily PSS decided to "automate" the landing lights, and does not let it to handled by the pilot... ;)

So my ranking could bee a much better one as it is at the moment !
Could the PSS Pilots get a "Bonus" one day for all the Penaltys getting from their software ?
