What can't you do? This is just a repaint, not the whole aircraft - you have to own the payware aircraft to use it.

Instructions are included in the file.

If you are using Windows vista or 7 and Flight simulator is installed under program files, then the easiest thing to do is copy the aircraft.cfg file that needs editing to your desktop, edit and save then drag back to the folder - this will prompt you for administrator access which you allow and done.

If this is the case and you try editing the file without running the editor with elevated privileges then when you save, the file is not updated.

Thanks Alex.

I am not that short to realise I need the actual aircraft. But as I said I already done it. Thanks for the help offered anyway

Dear Alex,

Thinking about your reply it sounds rude and unsupportive. Shame when this VA sounded great

Hey Manuel,

I don't think Alex wanted to sound rude. Throughout the years, many people thought they actually downloaded the payware aircraft (for free). I think Alex wanted to be sure that this was not the case. I hope you enjoy the aircraft and the repaint anyway ;)

I apologise if you found my response to be rude,  it was certainly not intended that way. Sadly this is a common problem with both the written word and possible language/cultural barriers.

As little information was provided in your initial help request and I am not aware of your level of proficiency, I have to assume no knowledge and work up from there. This is usually the quickest way of helping someone with their problem, so please do not be offended if I state basic, simple things to check - sometimes even long time, experienced users forget to check something simple - I do it myself.

I was not aware that you had solved whatever the problem was - which is why I went in depth on the likely assumption that it was an elevated privileges problem on windows vista or 7. The last post you made prior to my response stated you couldn't get it to work: "after trying almost 1 hour just can't do it".

If you have now got it working, then great, I wish you many happy hours flying with that great aircraft.

Kind regards

Hey Alex,

No problem. Is just that I think this is a really great VA of which you don't find that many. After being in a few found that people promes things that never happens, thay are rud, offensive and unsupportive, you get a bit of the defensive side of it Apologise for my assumption. Hope to see you in the skys
