So pilots will be sent a force act on the Fixes above mentioned to make sure they are in the cockpit plus random requests outside this sections of the route if you do not respond the Force act on 20nm inbound to sospi and in tunba you will be disconected with the reason of "abuse of crew rest window" this is a consideration to all of you please do not abuse or miss use it

well, unfortunately I still don't know if I can participate ... but in all case, I will leave the acnnouncement anyway ;)
-
Sounds like a seriously mega event Bruno ... I can't commit that amount of time to an on-line flight sadly :(
-
Hi,
ok guys, I am going to write here some things while I am doing the event.
My departure was very bad, because I forgot to turn off the crash on ground so I crashed a bloody 777 that was going to depart and I had to start all over again.
Now I am on the air, about 21nm inbound OLBEX, and I am at FL310 leveled due to heavy fuel load yet (it marks 95%) :) ..
Also, another pilot is with us! Sven Porschmann!!! Hi Sven!
I am having a problem also ... I can only sleep 45 min in 3.5h :| ... Oh God ...
-
Also, Sven is stucked on about 20 airplanes to depart from NZAA (Auckland)....
-
... and we have 31 pilots pilots for the event.
From all places on earth! ...
The ones that I recognize are 2 from German Airwings, 2 from KLM, 2 from EUROHARMONY (go! go! go!), 1 from TAP, 2 from Ventus VA ... and some more from other VA's ;) ...
-
ops ... something happened to Sven :( ..
Looks like I am alone representing our VA now ;D ...
-
Ok, just got on my first crew rest window of 45 min...
Now I can go to the kitchen and prepare a pizza ... hhmm ... i think it had spared some from yesterday ... :8
Ok, we now have 33 airplanes on the move ... looks like a big convoy.
Unfortunately I am not taking too much photos because I am afraid it can crash the fs .... but i am going to take one from Ivae too and post it here ;)
-

-
ops ... noticed a small problem on the engines ...
They were at 103% :| ... but that was because i forgot to change to VNAV and was on manual altitude yet :| ...
It's solved now and N1 now shows 90% ;) ...
-
ok ... we lost ATC now ... nice ...
33 airplanes flying at their own ... ;D ...
Well, also both CTR's are gone .. things are going nice now ...
After 20 mins we got a message from a CTR saying to all of us contact a freq that was nobody there ..
So, all of us are just having a good chat on UNICOM ;D ...
-
Another curious situation ...
From all the guys flying, i am the only guy flying to MMTO! ...
Don't know why, looks like it can be the very hard precision between-the-mountais approach ?
Here goes the photo ... :

-
Well, 00:25 here in portugal ...
Just passed the Tahiti islands ... very small islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean :| ...
Still have 3700nm to go .. about 7h+ still to fly ..
I am just got a portuguese guy from TAP that is not from Tap Virtual ... It's from Air France VA .. so, I am trying to convince him to come to our VA ;) ..
-
wow, my first oceanic procedures ! :8
Was nice, but my FMC says it all (latitude, longitude, mach, FL, next waypoint, etc) !
So, i just had to say what my FMC says and .. that's all..
I also noticed guys that doesnt know what "Mach" is, or True airspeed or how to talk on Oceanic Procedures... Well, maybe it's something that we could motivate our pilots to do so here on ou VA ...
-
Following your progress step by step !! keep posting !! :>
-
New NTTT_CTR !
Now i am only on text because my girlfriend is already sleeping ...
... We are now on the middle of the very far Tahiti Sector (About 6000nm long) so, i guess i'll have more 3 hours until getting to TIAMU intersection ...
Going to read a little to pass the time .. hope i dont fall asleep :o
-
... hhmm ... i see sheeps and horses ... am I dreaming ??? ;D
-
another image showing on the top convoy!
(http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7280/homecpu2006may60048sb.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
-
TIAMU waypoint ... now, that sound curious ...
TIAMU = "Te amo" in brazilian , or "Amo-te" in portuguese.
Basically it means "I love you" :)
-
Great job Bruno, keep up the good work! EHM forever!
Hope your sleeping schedule doesn't get too messed up... might turn into an owl!
-
ok. ..... ... 0536z and I dont know what to say ...
Almost falling down to sleep ... :(
-
... still 2 hours of flight until landing ... (sight)
-
also, we are now "only" 28 airplanes ... 5 had "fallen" along the way ;D
-
Ok, some guys are starting to land on MMAA!
(http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/7038/homecpu2006may60052if.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
-
still, my TOD marks at 368nm :( ... BUÁÁÁÁ ...
-
ok, now it's getting to action on my side ..
I am preparing for descent in 160nm :o , so will use DERVI approach then will land via PTJ transition ...
Also, now I am back on voice again (was only on text because my girlfriend was sleeping .. )
-
ops .... after 11h flying my FS decides to big a critical error!!!
Ok, it didnt stopped flight simulator, but has an annoying window saying if I want to debug or to close the window :o
Also, i just saved my flight if I have to restart it from this point ....
20 mins to end my adventure ... hope the BLOODY Microsoft dont spoil it!! GRRR
-
runway in sight!!!
-
landed !!!! YYUUPPI!
Wow ... 14h flight ...
Ok, i must get some sleep now ... going to post 2 fs photos later.
Was a great adventure!!!!
-
Meus felicitações de feltro do coração a você Bruno!
(Blame Google...) And then from me, "Chapeau"! (Ask any French cycling fan about that one if you don't understand...)
If coffee or some other stimulant didn't play a large part in that marathon effort, I'd be very surprised.
-
Well, it had played :) ..
Also, we had 2 rest crew 45mins on the whole flight so I had some minutes to sleep some time ;) ...
It is done. And I got my "Aviation Celebration Tours and Events" award!
Regards,
