Title: Level D Posky panel merge

If anyone's interested there is a way to merge the fantastic LDS panel with the PoSKY 757 series.

If your interested, here's how its done.

Ok...open your EuroHolidays Boeing 757-200 Folder, and then open the cfg file. (Before Proceeding make a back up and dont blame me if this goes wrong!

Ok, about 2 or 3 paragraphs down, you can see the text that starts with....

Sorry for the length but it had to be done!;D

Ok, after doing that, close the CFG file and save changes.

Then go to you Level D sim folder, and copy the panel into your EuroHolidays 757 folder, and overwrite it.

Now, this part is very important, so make sure it is done correctly.

The 757-200 Air file should be called, B757-200RR.air. Remember this name.

Now go to the level D Sim folder, copy the LDS Air File into your EHO directory. Now go to the original B757-200RR.air, and rename it B757-200RR.bak.

Rename the LDS airfile, B757-200RR.air, and hey presto,....!

But hey ! This way you did a 757 looking 767, because you altered not some visual, but all dynamics parameter. This way the 757 will act like a 767. Is that really what you wanted ? :o

Well, It works for me lol....It still flies like the PsKY 757, but uses the LDS 767 Panel...

Im not sure how it works, i just got this off Avsim, and translated it into "good English"

ha lol, well ill use it, i just hate using big aircraft now for propper routes without an FMC , seems sooo, unrealistic! :P, will just ignore the fact that its supposed to be a 767 panel ;P

I have just flown LSZH to LPPT in the 752 using the Level D Panel as suggested. Towards the end of the flight I got a fuel configuration warning. When looking at the fuel contents, the starboard wing tank was several thousand pounds down on the port tank (all the fuel pumps were on, so it was not due to a pump being turned off), I had to turn on the crossfeed pumps in order to balance the tanks. The initial fuel load was , wing tanks at 98% and the centre tank with 20000lbs, landed with 17600lbs on board. The normal fuel configuration is to have the wing tanks full and any additional fuel in the centre tank, however as things are at the moment it may be better to have the centre tank with the majority of the fuel, and any additional fuel in the wing tanks.

I have found the problem with the fuel issue regarding the Fuel Config warning, the amended aircraft.cfg file has a couple of errors in it. To overcome the problem you have to edit the file as follows, open the cfg file and scroll down to the [fuel] section and edit the last 2 lines to read :number_ of_ tank_selectors = 2, and electric_pump = 1, I have checked this out and both the wing tanks feed the engines correctly and the fuel flow from both tanks are the same.
