Hi all
Another question i'm afraid :s.
Where a/c Passanger figures are shown as pure weight, is there a conversion or table to use where actual weight is turned into actual pax numbers. Say, 180lbs per person or such like?
Hope that reads right:%
Thanks again
Terry

The standard wight used for passengers to calculate passenger weight in an airplane is 75kg(165lbs) plus their hand luggage allowance. Wich typicaly variers between 10-20kg depending on fare class and aircarrier.

Well, if I remember well, actually we counted each passengers with 170 lbs + 40lbs luggage + food (depends on class) ;)
Unfortunately FS cant count you the amount of passengers, only weight. A good tool would came handy to count only pax amount and that could turn the numbers into weight ;)

In FsPassenger when you load your plane, a passenger weights between 25 and 60kgs! There must be something wrong with it! However, that's why I usually give them a lot of food on my trips ;D

Thanks everyone, Going on your answers I think I'll make myself a basic speadsheet to calculate weights. Should'nt be too hard.
Think I better go and weigh myself :s Must remember to hold a bag of shopping from duty free:]
Thanks

I always use the calculator and think of an average of 200 pounds per pax... counting we're all not the same and some weight more, others less, more or less lugagge... you can add a random factor to it too...
Example with a Beech 1900D, lets say i have 17 pax
17x200= 3400 lbs
lets think randomly of a number between 1 and 200... i chose 34 :P
3434 lbs !
