Title: CRJ-200
Post by: EHM-1500 Jim on December 07, 2004, 10:34:02 am
Little question for you software gurus. Am using the CRJ-200 for most of my Class 4 flights as i find it the best when using FS9. Only problem is that when i press the icon to display the GPS nothing appears!! Anyone know how to solve this? LOL, Jim

I guess it is a panel bug! Maybe the panel is not compatible with FS9. As I know, inside the panel.cfg it is defined which gauge should the program loaded when you press the GPS icon...maybe there is a different code for FS8 and FS9. Maybe you could try to look for other surely FS9 panels, which gauge is used for the GPS button, and try to edit the buggy one and add the correct gauge name to that one...in brief.

If the panel was made for FS2002, the GPS will not display. This can be avoided by editing the panel.cfg file. Replace the old GPS window with this one:

[WindowX]
Background_color=16,16,16
size_mm=148,97
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
window_size= 0.265, 0.277
window_pos= 0.653, 0.723

gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,148,97

Replace the X with the old window number.
