Title: IVAO MTL
Post by: EHM-1953 Daniel on July 31, 2007, 01:15:10 pm
hi everybody..

i've a question regarding the mtl library of IVAO, when i install it everything is fine and so.. but after a while it starts to show up in the aircraft list where i'm chosing a/c for my flight, this causes my pc to work a very much longer time for starting FS and to take me into the aircraft selection page.. can you do anyting that 'removes' the IVAO a/c from there and shortens my loading time agian.. and what am i doing that causes the aircrafts to show up there...?

anybody recognizes this? or have i got it all wrong ;D

cheeres

Same problem here.. Is it somehow able to "hide" those aircrafts? Or something, so that it wouldn't take so much time to start FS, etc like Daniel said.

There is a way to do this - if you click on your 'Start' button at the bottom left of your PC screen and then click over the 'Programs' option, this will open up a list of all your programs. In this list there should be an entry for IVAO and under this heading you will find options for the MTL Installer etc. One of these options allows you to 'Hide/Unhide' the MTL aircraft which basically changes one of their parameters so that MSFS shows them in the aircraft list or not...

Any problems with this, let us know!

well, quite intresting accutally :P it has hidden all the aircrafts, except those that comes with the flight simulator or something... because i've got the Bell 206, beech king air 350, the cessnas, the mooney, the robinson copper, and a piper (?) left in the IVAO folder... but it's so little that i'm happy :D thanx Dominic!
