Cannot lock Flights
« on: October 17, 2005, 12:48:26 pm »
Hi everyone.
Imagine my frustration when I go to try out the new propilot and for some reason it won't work for me! AHHH! lol

I imagine it is something to do with settings on my computer since no one else seems to be having this problem so i was wondering if anybody has any ideas?

I am using internet explorer and when I click lock flights I can do the search which brings up the list of planes at egll.  However I am unable to click on any cell in the list.  The mouse pointer changes to a hand but when I click absolutely nothing happens.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Tom

Normally that happens when you already have more IE windows open.

IE loads the next popup on another IE window, but doesnt activate it, so the user doesnt see what happened.

Close all IE windows, and test it again.

Sadly that didn't work.  I closed all the windows but the same problem was still there. :[

Did it gives you any type of error ? ... Look at the bottom left on the IE to see if it gives you an javascript error ...

No.  Thats what I thought was very strange.  There is no error and nothing happens at all.

Do you have any type of popup blockers ? Google ? Msn ?

You need to turn them off ...

Yes I'm positive that those two are switched off.  My only thoughts where that there is a pop up blocker hiding somewhere that I dont know about so I am going to have a look around my computer and see what I can find.

Is there any possibility that it has to do with the version of IE?

Well, I dont think so. If you use IE 5.0 or higher than there is no problem.

I honestly don't know how but all of a sudden it has started to work.  I think it may be to do with the fact that there was a pop up blocker in Yahoo but then when I turned it back on ProPilot was still working.  Very strange.  Anyway thanks again.  Now I have some flying to do! ;D
